Plenu Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the subscription services provided by HomeFill LLC d/b/a Plenu ("Plenu," "we," "us," or "our"), a Tennessee limited liability company. By signing up for a Plenu subscription, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise accessing the Plenu service, you ("Subscriber," "you," or "your") agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not sign up or use the service.
These Terms constitute a binding contract between you and HomeFill LLC d/b/a Plenu. They apply to all Plenu subscription tiers — Solo, Plus, Family, and XL — as well as any College rate subscriptions.
2. About Our Service
Plenu is a household management subscription service. Depending on your subscription tier, Plenu helps coordinate your household's recurring product needs, including home essentials and consumables, delivered on a schedule tailored to your household.
Plenu is built for real life — always on time, tailored to your family, remembers your rhythm.
3. About Our AI — Required Disclosure
IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully. Plenu uses artificial intelligence ("AI") technology to personalize your service experience.
WHAT OUR AI IS NOT
Plenu's AI is a software system — not a human being.
Our AI does NOT provide medical, mental health, therapeutic, counseling, legal, or financial advice.
Our AI may make mistakes. Important decisions about your household or health should not be based solely on AI outputs.
Our AI does not have feelings, does not form relationships, and is not a substitute for human connection, professional help, or emergency services.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, please call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.
You may request to speak with a human team member at any time — see Section 10.
Plenu's AI capabilities include: customizing your subscription box composition, adjusting product quantities based on your household patterns, sending reminders and recommendations, and answering questions about your account and deliveries.
Mental Health Crisis — Always Here to Connect You
If you are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicide, please call or text 988 immediately.
You can also text "HELLO" to 741741 (Crisis Text Line) or call 911 for emergencies.
Our AI will always provide you with this information when relevant and will connect you with our human team.
This disclosure is made in accordance with applicable law, including the Tennessee Mental Health AI Misrepresentation Act (TN SB1580, effective July 1, 2026) and applicable European Union AI Act transparency requirements.
4. Subscription Plans and Pricing
4.1 Available Plans
Plenu currently offers the following subscription tiers. All prices listed are all-inclusive — no additional taxes or fees are charged at checkout. Tennessee sales tax (9.25%) is embedded in all displayed prices.
| Plan | Monthly Rate (all-in) | College Annual Rate | Coverage |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $34 / month | $24 / year* | 1-person household |
| Plus | $49 / month | $37 / year* | 2-person household |
| Family | $69 / month | $54 / year* | 3–4 person household |
| XL | $89 / month | $72 / year* | 5+ person household |
* College rate is an annual subscription billed once per year. Annual re-verification of college enrollment is required. See Section 4.3.
4.2 Cohort 1–30 Locked Rate Commitment
Cohort 1–30: Your Rate Is Locked While You Stay Subscribed
If you are one of the first 30 subscribers (Cohort 1–30), your monthly subscription rate is locked at the rate in effect when you subscribed — for as long as you remain a continuous subscriber.
This rate lock applies to monthly subscriptions only. There is no upfront payment commitment.
IMPORTANT: If you cancel or pause your subscription and then resubscribe, your new subscription will be priced at the then-current rate in effect at the time of resubscription. The Cohort 1–30 rate lock does not survive a cancellation or resubscription.
4.3 College Rate
The College rate is available to currently enrolled college or university students. College rate subscriptions are billed annually. To maintain your College rate:
- You must verify current college enrollment at the time of initial signup.
- You must re-verify enrollment annually on or before your subscription renewal date.
- Failure to re-verify results in automatic migration to the standard monthly rate for your tier.
- The language "Verified college rate" is not used. We refer to this simply as the "Student rate."
4.4 Price Adjustments
Plenu reserves the right to change subscription prices for future subscription periods. Except for Cohort 1–30 subscribers subject to the rate lock described in Section 4.2, Plenu will provide at least 30 days' advance written notice of any price increase before it takes effect. Your continued use of the service after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
5. Billing and Payment
5.1 Billing Cycle
Monthly subscribers are billed on a recurring monthly basis on the date you first subscribed. Annual (College) subscribers are billed on a recurring annual basis on the date of initial signup.
5.2 Automatic Renewal
YOUR SUBSCRIPTION AUTOMATICALLY RENEWS. Unless you cancel before your renewal date (see Section 6), your subscription will automatically renew and your payment method on file will be charged at the applicable rate. You authorize Plenu to charge your payment method for each renewal period until you cancel.
5.3 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, Plenu may attempt to retry the charge. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be paused or cancelled and access to your account may be suspended. We will notify you by email of any payment failure.
5.4 Taxes and Fees
All prices displayed are all-inclusive. Tennessee sales tax (9.25%) is already embedded in the displayed subscription price. No additional taxes or fees will be charged at checkout for standard subscriptions.
6. Cancellation and Pause Policy
Your Right to Cancel — Easy Cancellation, Always
You can cancel your Plenu subscription at any time through any of the following channels:
• Online: Log in to your account at plenu.online > Account Settings > Cancel Subscription
• Email: Send a cancellation request to ops@plenu.online
• Phone/Text: Contact us through your account's support channel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to receive service through the end of the period for which you have already paid.
Cancellation must be at least as easy as signing up. We will never require you to call a phone number that is harder to reach than the way you signed up.
6.1 How to Cancel
- Log in to your account at plenu.online.
- Go to Account Settings.
- Select "Cancel Subscription."
- Confirm your cancellation. You will receive a confirmation email.
You may also cancel by contacting us at ops@plenu.online. We will process your cancellation within 1 business day.
6.2 Effect of Cancellation
When you cancel:
- Your subscription continues through the end of your current billing period.
- You will not be charged for the next renewal period.
- Your Cohort 1–30 rate lock, if applicable, does not carry over to a future resubscription.
- Any box already shipped in your final period is non-refundable except in cases of defect or error (see Section 6.4).
6.3 Pause Option
You may pause your subscription for up to 90 days instead of cancelling. During a pause, you will not be charged and will not receive deliveries. To resume, log into your account and select "Resume Subscription." Note: if you are a Cohort 1–30 subscriber, pausing does not break your rate lock, but cancelling does.
6.4 Refund Policy
Plenu does not offer prorated refunds for cancellations mid-period. However:
- If you receive a box that is damaged, defective, or significantly incorrect, please contact ops@plenu.online within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or credit.
- If you are charged after a confirmed cancellation, we will refund the erroneous charge.
7. Use of the Service
7.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to subscribe to Plenu. By subscribing, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
7.2 Account Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at ops@plenu.online if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
7.3 Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information in connection with your subscription (including false college enrollment verification).
- Use the service for commercial resale purposes.
- Attempt to circumvent or abuse the Cohort 1–30 rate lock through multiple account creation.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers or networks connected to the service.
- Use automated means to interact with the service without written authorization.
8. Subscription Box Composition
Your Plenu subscription includes regular delivery of household essentials customized to your household's size and needs. Specific product brands, types, and quantities may vary based on:
- Your household profile and stated preferences.
- AI-generated consumption pattern analysis.
- Product availability at the time of fulfillment.
Plenu does not guarantee specific brands or specific products in any given delivery. We guarantee that your box will contain home essentials appropriate to your tier. If you have specific product requirements (e.g., allergies), please indicate this in your account settings. Plenu's ability to accommodate all specific requests may be limited.
9. Privacy and Your Data
Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy (available at plenu.online/privacy) describes how we collect, use, and share information about you and your household.
Key privacy points:
- We collect household-level data to personalize your subscription. We use a subscriber identifier system — your personal identity information is not shared with our AI systems.
- We do not sell your personal information to third parties for advertising purposes.
- We use your consumption data to improve box composition and service quality.
- California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). See our Privacy Policy for details.
- Residents of Texas, Tennessee, Virginia, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws also have specific rights. See our Privacy Policy for the full state-by-state rights summary.
To exercise your privacy rights (access, deletion, correction, portability, opt-out), contact us at ops@plenu.online or visit plenu.online/privacy.
10. How to Reach Our Human Team
Although Plenu uses AI to assist with many aspects of your service, you can always request to speak with or receive a response from a human team member. To do so:
- Email: ops@plenu.online — human review within 2–3 business days.
- In-app support: Message us through your account and indicate you want a human response.
We will always connect you with a human for: billing disputes, complaints, account closure requests, sensitive personal matters, or situations involving your health or safety.
11. Intellectual Property
The Plenu name, logo, website, and service content are owned by HomeFill LLC d/b/a Plenu or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks, service marks, or trade dress without our prior written consent.
Your subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the Plenu service for your household's personal, non-commercial use.
12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
12.1 Service "As Is"
THE PLENU SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. PLENU MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
12.2 AI Limitations
Our AI systems are designed to improve over time but may make errors. Plenu does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness of any AI-generated content, recommendation, or output for any particular purpose. You should use your own judgment when relying on AI-generated information.
12.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, PLENU'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO PLENU IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. PLENU WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms will be resolved as follows:
13.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing any formal claim, you agree to contact us at ops@plenu.online and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We will make a good faith effort to resolve your concern within 30 days.
13.2 Arbitration
Except for claims that qualify for small claims court (Section 13.3) and except where prohibited by applicable law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Plenu service that is not resolved informally under Section 13.1 shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. The arbitration will be seated in Davidson County, Tennessee, and may, at your election, be conducted by telephone, video, or written submission. The arbitrator's decision is final and binding, and judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act.
13.2.1 Class Action Waiver
You and Plenu agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
13.2.2 Your 30-Day Right to Opt Out
To opt out, you must send written notice to legal@plenu.online within 30 days of first agreeing to these Terms. Your notice must include your full name, the email address associated with your account, and a statement that you are opting out of arbitration. If you opt out, disputes will instead be handled under Section 13.1 and in the state or federal courts located in Davidson County, Tennessee. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.
13.3 Small Claims Court
Notwithstanding the above, either party may bring claims in small claims court in Davidson County, Tennessee, for disputes within the court's jurisdictional limit.
14. Changes to These Terms
Plenu may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Plenu website at least 30 days before the change takes effect. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date of the change without penalty.
Your continued use of the service after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of those Terms.
15. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and AI Disclosure Notice, constitute the entire agreement between you and Plenu regarding the service and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Waiver: Failure by Plenu to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your subscription or your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. Plenu may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets.
